On 12/14/12, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Newtown Police received a 911 call reporting a possible shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School located at 12 Dickenson Drive in Newtown. Newtown Officers immediately responded and requested assistance from Connecticut State Police. Surrounding police agencies also sent assistance to the scene. Troopers, both on-duty and off-duty, responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, teams of Troopers and Officers formed “Active Shooter Teams” and immediately entered the school. Teams performed rescues of students and staff, removing them to a safe location as they searched for the shooting suspect within the building. The building was evacuated and students walked hand in hand out to a safe location.

Teams encountered several students and staff suffering from gunshot wounds. The building was secured, the ”shooter” was located deceased, and Newtown EMS personnel entered to provide emergency care for the wounded. Eighteen (18) children were pronounced dead at the scene, two children were transported to Danbury Hospital and later pronounced dead. Six (6) adult victims were also pronounced dead at the scene. Teams located the shooter on scene; he was also pronounced dead. The perimeter was also searched and secured by responding law enforcement.

The building was secured and at the request of the Newton Police Chief and Danbury State’s Attorney, two Connecticut State Police Major Crime squads responded to conduct the investigation into this crime. Troopers are assisted by Newtown Police Detectives, Danbury State’s Attorney, and many Federal, Local, and States Law Enforcement Agencies

The processing of the scene began immediately with documentation of the crime scene and identifying and gathering both physical and forensic evidence. The urgent focus of the Major Crime investigators was to work with the Office of the Chief State’ s Medical Examiner to establish the identity of all the deceased victims. This was accomplished overnight and the next of kin were all notified that positive identification was made.

The family of each victim was assigned a Trooper or Officer to establish and maintain an open line of communication. This was put into place so families of the victims can have immediate contact related to any questions they may have and to also provide State Police investigators the ability to communicate with families without delay.

The families have requested no press interviews and we are asking that this request be honored.

The deceased victims have been transported to the Office of The Chief State’s Medical Examiner where a post mortem examination will be conducted to determine the manner and cause of death.

State Police Major Crime Investigators are continuing to process the school crime scene, gathering evidence and documenting the entire facility. State Police Detectives assisted by Newtown Detectives processed the interior and exterior crime scene. Teams of investigators flooded the community and followed each lead, developing extensive information.

A second crime scene was located by investigators at a residence on Yogananda Street. A female was located deceased inside the residence. This scene was secured and an additional State Police Major Crime Squad responded to this scene to investigate this incident. Preliminary information determined that the deceased was a relative of the “shooter” at the Elementary School.

Presently, the school scene is still being processed by detectives and it anticipated that this process will take several days. In addition, Troopers are continuing to follow any and all leads in this case utilizing Law Enforcement in-state as well as out of state as required.

Crisis counseling teams are on-site to provide support to the families of all of the victims.

The investigation is continuing.

As in the Aurora, Colorado movie theatre massacre earlier this year, witnesses provided testimony of a second shooter beyond James Holmes, the man accused in that horric killing.  James Eagan Holmes (born December 13, 1987) is the suspected perpetrator of a mass shooting that occurred on July 20, 2012 at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. He had no known criminal record prior to the shooting.

The differing eyewitness accounts of a possible 2nd shooter or accomplice must be examined & not dismissed outright as ‘fog of war’ type confusion. In this video compilation, 2 separate eyewitnesses give very specific details about a tear gas can being thrown from the other side of the theater, opposite the alleged gunman. Another reports that someone sitting in the front row received a cell phone call or text & then proceeded to the emergency exit from where the gunman entered – He did not say if this individual returned to their seat or not, or give a detailed description: Was it Holmes or someone else? These are very specific details & cannot be simply ignored in lieu of the “official story” that will inevitably emerge. – Attendee (Holmes?) received a cell phone call, left through exit Was there an accomplice? Someone in the audience? A movie theater employee? Or did Holmes simply set a reminder on his own phone? – Gas canister coming from opposite side of theater Could a gas canister have ricocheted off the back wall of the theater? Was it rolled across the floor in the front, making it appear to come from the opposite side? Or, did someone else discharge the gas canister?

Holmes was initially jailed at Arapahoe Detention Center, under suicide watch.  He is being held in solitary confinement to protect him from other inmates, a routine precaution for high-profile cases.

Holmes made his first court appearance in Centennial, Colorado on July 23, before Judge William B. Sylvester. He was read his rights and no bond was given. A mandatory protection order was issued by the judge. The judge appointed a public defender. Holmes said nothing and never looked at the judge.  His appearance, which was described as “dazed” and “confused” fueled speculation about his mental state.

On July 30, Colorado prosecutors filed formal charges against Holmes that included 24 counts of first degree murder, 116 counts of attempted murder, possession of explosive devices, and inciting violence. The multiple charges expand the opportunities for prosecutors to obtain convictions. For each person killed in the shooting, Holmes is charged with one count of murder with deliberation and one count of murder with extreme indifference. Holmes agreed in court to waive his right to a preliminary hearing within 35 days.

On August 9, Holmes’ attorneys said their client is mentally ill and that they need more time to assess the nature of his illness. The disclosure was made at a court hearing in Centennial where news media organizations were asking a judge to unseal court documents in the case.

On September 19, the prosecution filed a motion to add 10 new charges against Holmes and asked to amend 17 others. The additional charges would bring the total counts Holmes faces to 152. Holmes appeared in the Arapahoe County Court house the following day for the first time without his dyed-red hair, but with cropped hair revealing his natural brown color.

On September 28, court documents released by prosecutors say Holmes was revoked access to the University of Colorado campus because he threatened a professor. The university has said Holmes was denied access to non-public parts of the campus because he had withdrawn from school.

On October 11, 2012, Holmes’ attorneys asked Judge William Sylvester to postpone a preliminary hearing scheduled for November. On October 25, the preliminary hearing was set for the week of January 7.

Holmes’ lawyers filed an emergency motion on November 14, 2012 to delay a pre-trial hearing, citing an unspecified condition that has left him unable to appear in court. “As a result of developments over the past 24 hours, Mr. Holmes is in a condition that renders him unable to be present in court for tomorrow’s hearing,” They requested to delay the hearing, which they received. It was rescheduled for December. Evidently, Holmes made various suicide attempts referred to as “half-hearted” in days before the scheduled hearing on November

Aurora Theater Shooting Court Documents Blows Inside Job Conspiracy Wide Open

Aurora Theater Shooting Court Documents Blows Inside Job Conspiracy Wide Open

Newly released court documents in the Aurora, CO theater “Batman massacre” case reveals startling inside accusations about who may actually be behind the shootings that left at least 70 people either dead or injured in the early morning hours of July 20th.

Friday’s report by the online version of Denver’s Westword Magazine details shocking claims made by, what appears to be, a new victim in a case that has throttled a community still in mourning over the tragic events. According to the court documents an individual, whose name has been officially redacted from the documents, came forward to file a “Motion to Intervene” for the right to be reasonably heard under the Crime Victims’ Rights Act (a)(4), for the purposes of presenting newly discovered evidence to the court.

Corroborating much of a recent Conspiracy Examiner story maintaining the situation as potentially being another horrific (rogue government faction) conspiracy and possible false-flag event, the newly discovered evidence, thrown out of court by Judge William Sylvester days later, details stunning accusations against billionaire Philip Anschutz, Police Chief Dan Oates, Arapaho County Dist. Atty. Carol Chambers and, according to the alleged victim, the Illuminati as being potential co-conspirators in the crime.

The stunning accusations, dated August 27, reveal a startling story by the claimant as having been visited at home by police chief Dan Oates and Dist. Atty. Carol Chambers where they forced the unnamed individual to testify as a fake victim of the shootings, under the threat of being arrested for prostitution and escort services and charity fraud, for the purposes of garnering an easy conviction against alleged shooter James Holmes. But not before being shot by the police chief in “non-life-threatening areas” of the body, according to the motion, to appear as having been shot by James Holmes himself. The motion also claims that it is likely some of the victims in the theater were merely paid actors working on behalf of the conspirators and wants multiple individuals involved in the situation to take polygraph tests to prove their innocence.

Claiming that their conscience will not let fraudulent testimony contribute to an improper conviction of James Holmes, the new mystery victim asked that the judge submit the case to the FBI and the US Congress for further investigation into the alleged conspiracy. The judge, however, instead of taking a closer look, decided to strike down the motion as fraudulent, claiming the motion as likely forged by an individual or individuals unassociated with the events. The judge also suggested the situation be investigated by the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s office and those responsible for the motion be taken into custody by the Arapahoe County Department of Human Services and “referred to the appropriate mental health agency.”

But it may in fact be the judge that needs the mental attention as all the evidence collected in the case thus far seems to point toward mostly agreeing with the individual who filed the claim, despite the media and the court’s attempts to suppress any evidence that doesn’t support the official story. Multiple and corroborating eyewitness testimony stated what appeared to be multiple individuals involved in the shooting, including supporting official dispatch audio. Individuals interviewed by local media immediately after the event also claimed to have seen teargas canisters being deployed in the theater simultaneously from two different directions, in addition to side-by-side images of James Holmes prior to the shootings and the orange haired individual taken into custody as the alleged lone gunmen after the event looks startlingly like two different individuals. There also seems to have been two different gas masks found at the scene, in addition to other damning evidence that doesn’t jive with the official version of the events.

The individual who filed the motion also added that they wanted their portion of the charity to be donated to James Holmes’ prison commissary, after using the money to find Mr. Holmes “real” attorneys who are actually willing to act in the honest defense of James Holmes, or the individual in custody for the crime.

The motion, as certified by the Arapahoe County Dist. Atty. and public defenders offices, was sent via the United States Postal Service, then was quickly denied and subsequently released days ago to the public for reasons yet to be determined.

Perhaps one of the most telling aspects of the circumstances, however, happens to be the creepy dead silence about the motion by the media, especially considering every little detail about a situation like this is normally scrutinized at every angle after being groomed with a fine tooth comb and examined under a microscope.

It was just weeks ago that certain local media outlets were considering suing for access to court records because, according to those outlets, the community had a right to know so the victims and the community could more easily begin the healing process and find some semblance of closure. Perhaps information that may open new wounds, however, regardless of how accurate or important that information may be, may not be the kind of information they were looking for.

TRANSCRIPT FROM FIRE RESCUE

What follows is a partial transcript of the dispatch tapes from the Aurora fire and police departments regarding emergency medical response after Friday’s movie theater shooting. The times in parenthesis represent the amount of time passed after the shooting was first reported.

Abbreviations: PO(police officer); FDD (fire department dispatch); Command (fire department command).

PO: I have a party shot here. I need rescue hot. (3:07)

FDD: Medic … They need you in front of the theater.

FDD: Engine 8, we may have a second victim.

FDD: Starting third ambulance. (3:50)

Command: We’re going to have staging away from the scene.

PD: People who are shot running out of the theaters.

FDD: Multiple victims probably three plus.

PO: I need rescue … at least three to four ambulances, everyone can stage in the west parking lot. (5:43)

Command: Let’s set up ambulance staging at Expo and Sable. Is that where they want us to stage in the first place?

FDD: Now they’re saying west parking lot. Let me clarify with PD somewhere where we won’t necessarily be coming into their scene.

Command: They need to set us up a staging area.

FDD: They want the staging area in the west part of the theater.

MEDIC: We are on scene with APD. (6:56)

Engine 8: We’re on the scene. We’re getting reports of multiple victims and an active shooter. (7:14)

PO: I have two victims. … I need an ambulance here quick.

PO: We need to start putting them into cars and start shuttling them out to the west end.

PO: (inaudible) shot twice in the back.

PO: I need one ambulance.

PO: We need rescue inside the auditorium. Multiple victims. (8:13)

FDD: They’re saying they have a party on the east side of the theater they can’t get to. They need an ambulance. He’s shot in the back. And multiple parties inside the theater.

PO: I need as many ambulances as we can to the Dillard’s lot.

FDD: Looks like you have four ambulances started. PD requesting as many ambulances as possible to Dillard’s. How many ambulances do you want?

PO:I’m taking one male to the hospital in my car.

PO: Seven down in theater 9.

PO: I got a child victim. I need rescue at the back door of theater 9 now. (9:52)

MEDIC: I’m down here north of the Century theater. I have a GSW … to the leg.

PO: Dispatch, give me some ambulances on Sable. I want ambulances on Dillard’s lot.

FDD to Command: Sir, (inaudible) metro sent all available ambulances.

PO: We’re bringing out bodies now. (11:44)

PO: I’ve got one ambulance here. Where my ambulances at?

Tower 8 to Command: We need an ambulance for GSW to abdomen, arms and legs if you have anyone to spare.

PO: I need a medical crew. … I’ve got one victim eviscerated.

FDD: PD wants as many medical personnel as possible. Two additional engines in route.

Engine 8: I need … two ambulances over here right away.

PO: Get me some ambulances in the back of the theater or Sports Authority parking lot. (13:21)

FDD: PD is requesting as many medical personnel as possible to the Dillards. … We also have a child down.

PO: Do I have permission to take some of these victims via car? I have a whole bunch of people shot out here and no rescue. (14:00)

PD command: Yes. Load them up and get them in cars and get them out of here.

PO: We have one we cannot move in theater 9. Get us an ambulance here as soon as they’re available. (14:51)

FDD: Engine 2, truck 2, engine 4, engine 5 in route.

FDD: PD is requesting medical personnel in theater 9. Have a child down and cannot evacuate. (16:19)

Command: We’re going to set up Fire Department that aren’t on scene to stage at Exhibition and Sable.

FDD: DP advising there are 10 people down behind theater 9.

PO: Cruiser 6 is taking two more victims.

PO: (Inaudible) … shot in the neck.

Command: I need all ambulances that they’re sending to stage at Exposition.

FDD: PD is again requesting emergent medical to the back of the theater. (18:36)

Command: I copy that. I’m just trying to get things under control here.

FDD: I copy, and again they are still asking for additional medical in theater 9.

PO: Moving (inaudible) by police cars. I still need some ambulances over here.

Truck 2: We can take the theater.

PO: Let Aurora South know cruiser 6 is in route. One critical, one semi-critical.

Command: I need you …to come up here.

Dispatch Police: Truck 2 in route to theater 9. (19:10)

PO: We need rescue to move up to the rear of the theater. We have officers there requesting they come immediately for multiple victims. (19:27)

PO: Advise rescue that officers will be there for security. That’s the best thing we can do at this point.

FDD: Sir, I apologize again, but PD is asking for emergent medical to the back of the theater. They are on scene to provide security.

Command:Copy. I have truck 2 … to help engine 8.

FDD: I believe they have another party inside theater 9 that they can’t evacuate, which is the child, but they have 10 parties down behind the theater.

PO: We’re evacuating victims. (20:45)

Command: Go ahead and activate the EM system. We’re going to need to know exactly how many beds these … hospitals can take.

FDD: Do we have an approximate patient count?

PO: Come back for more. I have two here that need treatment right away.

PO: All right. I’m getting there.

Command: I’m just trying to sort it out right. I hear 10 here, four here. I’m going to go with 20 right now. Let’s just go with 20 people until we get this verified. (21:06)

FIRE Dillard Division: I have Medic 102 over here. Can I have them to transport my two red patients?

Command: Copy. All divisions set up a extrication, triage, treatment, transport within your division. (21:28)

Engine 5: Command, we’re right by the theater. We just had a police officer run up to us that has nine patients behind the theater here. This would be on the east side of the theater. Do you want us to stay here or go with the police officer? (21:49)

FDD: Command, did you copy engine 5? (22:56)

Command: Copy.

FDD: I need to know if you want them to stay there or continue onto Dillard’s.

Police dispatch: I still have a lot of people shot on the east side. I need cars there.

Engine 5: We’re on the east side of the theater on Sable. Do you want us to attend to the patients on the east side?

Command: You only have one patient there, correct?

Engine 5: Police officer told us said there are nine patients.

Truck 2:We are in the rear of the theater. We have nine shot. If we can get any ambulances in stage on Sable, we can get them over to the ambos. (24:02)

Command: OK, just stand by. Let me get this sorted out. I will be with you in a minute.

Command:Do we know if the chief is responding?

FDD: That’s negative, sir. Do you want me to start (inaudible) chief?

Command: Yeah, I need chief (inaudible) here.

Command: Truck 2, I want you to join up with Engine 5. I’m just going to make you Sable division. … We’re going to start there until we get more resources. (25:06)

Police dispatch: We need another car for transport behind theater 9.

FDD: The lieutenant with the police department is requesting to meet you face to face in front of the theater.

Dillards Division: We’re sending two … patients off.

Command: We’re waiting to hear from the EM system what beds are available.

Truck 2 to command: FYI, right now we’re loading patients into back of PD cars to get them transported. Any ambos we could get would be nice. (26:47)

Command to FDD: How many ambulances … do I have? I need to have them all go to staging cause we have people jumping in and out. I’m not sure anybody even is.

FDD:To be honest, sir, I don’t know an exact count of ambulances. They did just advise me that they’re sending two more from (inaudible ) and we have every unit that’s available in the city of Aurora.

Command: I need them to go to Sable. Can they send a supervisor, … to be in charge of the transport area over there at Expo and Sable so we can get a handle on ambulances, have them stage and then I can send them into each division.

Command:Make sure that all these ambulances know to return to staging area over at Expo and Sable.

East division to command:We have transported seven patients. We’re on our eighth patient. Also talked to police officer who said we may have a number of people dead inside the theater. (29:46)

Command: OK, if they’re dead, leave them. We’re in a mass casualty situation at this time.

FDD: They do have ambulances returning to the staging area.

Command: Anybody else that’s in the area that we can contact? Somebody we can get a hold of … anybody?

FDD: We’re working on finding additional transport rigs

Why Didn’t Anyone Fight Back? Questions Linger Over James Holmes Batman Movie Theater Shooting

Why Didn’t Anyone Fight Back? Questions Linger Over James Holmes Batman Movie Theater Shooting

One of the most shocking realization emerging from the James Holmes Batman movie shooting rampage in Aurora, Colorado is the fact that nobody apparently tried to stop the shooter. This is absolutely baffling. Out of at least 70 moviegoers (and maybe more, as numbers remain sketchy at the moment), it appears that nobody tried to tackle him to the ground, shoot back with their own gun, or even fight back in any way whatsoever. The accounts of witnesses are those of people fleeing, ducking and screaming… but not fighting for their lives.

This story is in no way intended to blame those present at the theater for what was obviously a horrifying, shocking and probably very confusing event, but at the same time we must ask the question: Why did no one fight back?

See my previous story, by the way, which asks other questions about this shooting, such as where did Holmes get the training and the funds to build a complex maze of flammable booby-traps? That story is available at:
http://www.naturalnews.com/036536_James_Holmes_shooting_false_flag.ht…

“There were bullet [casings] just falling on my head. They were burning my forehead,” Jennifer Seeger told reporters in an LA Times article (http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2012/07/colorado-shooting-suspe…). “Every few seconds it was just: Boom, boom, boom,” she said. “He would reload and shoot and anyone who would try to leave would just get killed.”

Another bizarre quote appears in the Daily Mail: (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2176450/The-Dark-Knight-Rises…)

A baby was shot at point blank range, the family were gathered around screaming.

Huh?

If the baby was shot at point blank range, that means the shooter was right there beside them. Instead of gathering around and screaming, why didn’t the family tackle the shooter?

This is not any sort of insensitive attempt at satire or blaming anyone, by the way. This is purely an effort to ask a deeply disturbing question that has been bothering me ever since this whole thing went down:

How can a lone gunman fire off at least 100 rounds in a crowded theater full of people and have NOBODY fight back, shoot back or attempt to tackle him?

The guy literally walked in, tossed a couple of smoke bombs, started shooting everybody in sight, and for some reason that remains entire unexplained, they let him do it. When he finished, he walked out the door and calmly surrendered to police, mission accomplished. He was never shot at, stabbed, kicked, punched, tripped or attacked in any way whatsoever, apparently.

It would have taken at least two full minutes to carry out the attack

Importantly, this shooting had to have taken several minutes to carry out. To fire 100+ rounds of ammunition from any weapon requires multiple reloads, each of which takes several seconds to carry out. There would have been long pauses in the shooting. There has even been a report that the AR-15 rifle used by the shooter jammed, which would have created an even longer pause.

These pauses are opportunities to bum rush the guy, or shoot back, or throw something at him, or just punch him right in the jaw with everything you’ve got. Holding a gun does not make you invincible. If anything, it makes you very, very vulnerable to all sorts of attacks. As I learned in my own defensive training, often alongside peace officers:

• Nobody has eyes in the back of their head. Attacks from behind are very, very effective.

• A gun only points in one direction at a time. It cannot shoot backwards, behind the person holding it.

• A gas mask SEVERELY limits angle of perception of vision. Someone wearing a gas mask, as is reported in this incident, is ridiculously vulnerable to attacks from behind, from above, from the sides and from below.

• No man can ignore a deliberate knee to the groin (from the front), or a “kickball” kick to the groin from behind. Such moves are taught in martial arts such as Krav Maga, and they are very, very effective at bringing any man to his knees, either screaming or even vomiting in pain.

• At close range, guns are LESS dangerous than knives. A knife can cut along an entire geometric plane, but a gun can only fire at a single point in space. Guns jam, guns run out of ammo, guns need to be reloaded. A knife, on the other hand, has none of these limitations. Disarming someone with a gun is MUCH easier than disarming someone with a knife.

Something doesn’t add up

It is bewildering that during the several minutes it would have taken for Holmes to fire 100+ rounds into the crowd, nobody fought back.

Again, I’m not blaming the people there, I’m just bewildered that nobody fought back. It doesn’t make sense. Unless, of course, the very fabric of American culture is now so passive and afraid that people have forgotten how to take action in the face of fear.

I think I speak for a great many concealed carry permit holders when I say that if I had been in that theater, I would have been emptying magazines in the direction of the threat (i.e. putting sights on target and repeatedly pulling the trigger). Like many concealed carry weapon holders, I would have turned that scene into what we sometimes jokingly call a “two-way range.”

Like all other concealed carry holders, I am reluctant to ever draw a weapon on anyone, but I’m absolutely willing to do so in order to try to stop a massacre from taking place.

What I can’t understand is how apparently NOBODY in the entire theater had the training or the presence of mind to fight back. This is truly astonishing at every level. In America today, do people just lay down to die when there’s a gunman in the room? I’m not asking this to be insulting in any way, I’m simply bewildered by the lack of action. This is an honest question: WHY did no one act?

Shattering myths: Guys with guns can be physically assaulted, even if you’re unarmed

Here’s a news flash for those who have never trained in these scenarios: Guys wielding guns are very, very easy to disarm during reloads — far easier than trying to disarm someone with a knife, as mentioned earlier. “Weapon takeaways” are routinely taught in Krav Maga, for example, and they are fast and effect, usually breaking the bad guy’s trigger finger in the process.

Taking away a weapon from a gunman is surprisingly easy. Forcing him to the ground takes almost no effort at all. This shooter could have been easily disarmed and pummeled to the ground by a single person, not to mention two or three working together.

Instead, the only reports we get from this incident are those of people screaming and hiding, or sometimes fleeing. To my knowledge, there are no eyewitness accounts of anyone rushing the gunman, shooting back, or trying to even trip him to fall on the floor. And yet empty shell casings were literally falling right onto people within arms’ reach of the guy.

As the Daily Mail reports: (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2176450/The-Dark-Knight-Rises…)

Twenty-five-year-old Jennifer Seeger, of Aurora, says she was in the second row, about four feet from the gunman. She says she ‘was just a deer in headlights’ and ducked to the ground.

Tactically speaking, there is absolutely no way that one person can shoot 70 people unless those 70 people just lay there and let it happen. To shoot 70 people, the guy must have pulled the trigger at least 100 times, probably a lot more, as accuracy in these situations is usually quite poor. Most likely we’re going to find up to 200 rounds expended, once a final forensic count is completed.

News reports say he used as 90-round ammo “drum” for the AR-15. These drums are notoriously bad at feeding ammo, making them useless on the battlefield, which is why soldiers never use them on their personal AR-15s (they use 30-round mags). According to reports, Holmes’ AR-15 drum jammed during the shooting (no surprise) and he had to abandon that weapon and start using something else. All this would have taken time for him to sort out, during which the shooter is completely vulnerable to all sorts of grappling attacks, punches, kicks to the groin, eye gouges, weapon takeaways, etc.

Yet, strangely, nobody rushed the guy. Nobody shot back. Nobody tried to punch him. I honestly don’t understand this.

A culture of passive victims

It occurs to me that maybe I’m different from most Americans today in the fact that I am willing to fight back. For some reason, that seems to be a rarity these days. Too many people have bought into learned helplessness, where they depend on the government to take care of them, keep them safe and solve all their problems.

Once you outsource your personal security to the government — usually by having no defense skills and hoping 911 will respond quickly — you make yourself an easy victim for violent criminals.

The true path to personal safety and security is to learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones. There are many ways to do that, from basic hand-to-hand combat and martial arts skills to learning proficiency in the “American martial art” of hand-gunning. I’ve personally trained with numerous instructors who could have taken Holmes out from 20 – 30 meters away with a single shot to the head, with about 90% accuracy even under pressure. There are lots of proficient firearms owners across America, and a great many of them are carrying those weapons into movie theaters, shopping malls, retail stores and even at the airport. Why was no one carrying a concealed weapon at the Batman movie theater in Aurora? I have no idea.

Again, it’s difficult to second guess what really went down there with all the confusion, the screaming, the smoke and so on. Maybe there were concealed carry weapon holders in the room but they couldn’t get a clear shot. One thing concealed carry holders are always taught is to never shoot at a bad guy if there are innocent civilians behind him. (You’re always trained to know what’s BEHIND your target.) This might have made target acquisition difficult, but given the reality of what was unfolding, it would seem logical to pull the trigger anyway, as allowing the shooter to stand would clearly result in a great number of additional deaths.

Also, there is the distinct possibility that perhaps someone did pull a gun on Holmes, but they got shot by him first. We don’t know the real story on this until more information is released by investigators. So perhaps there was someone who had the courage to fight back and we just haven’t learned about them yet.

What we do know, so far at least, is that no stories of attempted heroism have emerged. Not a single account that I’m aware of, and I’ve been scanning the stories. This is very, very strange. Something doesn’t add up yet again.

Is American culture now one of total surrender?

What I’m starting to think really happened is that the American culture is becoming one of total surrender to criminals. Why do people line up at the airports and allow the TSA go grope their genitals? Because they’re passive and they’ve surrendered instead of fighting back. Why do stay silent when runaway criminality is happening all around them in the form of armed raids on raw milk farmers (http://www.naturalnews.com/033220_Rawesome_Foods_armed_raids.html) and government hit squads trying to kill farmers’ ranch pigs in Michigan? (http://www.naturalnews.com/035585_Michigan_farms_raids.html) Because people are scared into silence.

Americans, it turns out, are easy to terrorize. They’re easy to freeze into a state of fear-based non-action. That fear can and will be used against them, again and again. Look at the post 9/11 effort to crush freedom and destroy the Bill of Rights. It succeeded because Americans were terrorized and willing to give up all their liberties for the false promise of a little security.

The police cannot protect you

This is concerning for lots of reasons beyond the Batman shooting. It means the population is just cannon fodder for armed gangs of looters when the next collapse comes, and the debt spending of the U.S. government absolutely guarantees a financial collapse is just around the corner. (It’s only a matter of time.)

It’s beginning to look more and more like only those of us who have the natural instinct to fight back — and who are willing to acquire fundamental skills of personal defense — will be left standing in the long run. Even those of us who have such skills will need to be both well practiced and, to some extent, lucky. But luck has a way of bending your way when you’re prepared, I’ve noticed.

I hope YOU, the readers, are among those of us who are survivors. We need more good people to survive and help lead our nation into a future of liberty, abundance and lasting health. We need more good people to survive social unrest, the aftermath of natural disasters, the coming economic collapse, food shortages, roving bands of armed gangs and so on. If anything, right now is a time for more people to go out and get trained on personal defense, whether that’s with martial arts, rape prevention classes, or even quality firearms training.

It should hopefully be obvious at this point that the police cannot protect you. Calling 911 is about as useless as crossing your fingers and hoping you won’t die. And that’s even if 911 answers, because 911 services are easily taken offline even by wind storms (as we saw recently in Washington D.C.). If you cannot protect yourself and your family, you’re not ready for what’s coming, I believe. Get prepared. Get some skills. Practice to the point of proficiency. Decide to survive rather than surrendering to violence.

Much of this, after all, is simply a mental decision. I have no idea why that mental decision did not take place inside the Batman movie theater, but I know that you and I can make that decision right now — the decision to SURVIVE — and we can move forward in life with the strength and power of sticking with that decision.
