Max led with the historic news that Colorado farmer Ryan Loflin had planted 55 acres of industrial hemp in southeastern Colorado — the first commercial hemp crop on American soil since the last known harvest in Wisconsin in 1957. The planting was made possible by Colorado’s Amendment 64, which not only legalized recreational marijuana but also opened the door for commercial hemp cultivation. Loflin, who founded Colorado Hemp, saw the crop as more than symbolic — he believed hemp could help revitalize struggling rural economies across the state. Max discussed hemp’s extraordinary versatility as a source of fiber, food, fuel, and building materials, and questioned why a crop grown by the Founding Fathers had been prohibited for over half a century.
Benghazi Whistleblower and the Permanent War on Terror

Hair as Antenna, Chinese Cancer Research, and Tommy Chong’s Recovery
Max explored the fascinating theory that human hair functions as an extension of the nervous system — acting as antennae that enhance intuition and environmental awareness. The concept, rooted in accounts from Vietnam-era military trackers who reportedly lost their abilities after receiving standard military haircuts, suggested that hair serves a sensory function far beyond what mainstream science acknowledges.
The broadcast also covered emerging research into Chinese herbal medicine as a treatment for cancer, and the story of comedian Tommy Chong announcing he had beaten prostate cancer through a combination of hemp oil, dietary changes, supplements, and alternative healing. Chong had been diagnosed in June 2012 and less than a year later reported that his PSA numbers had dropped dramatically and the cancer threat was eliminated.
