Show Recap
On the May 22, 2013 edition of Decrypted Matrix Radio, Max covered the suspicious FBI killing of a key Boston bombing witness, the arrest of activist Adam Kokesh, HAARP weather modification theories surrounding the Oklahoma tornado, and the emerging science of cannabis as a treatment for severe childhood epilepsy.
FBI Kills Key Boston Bombing Witness Ibragim Todashev
The show opened with the bombshell news that Ibragim Todashev, a former MMA fighter and associate of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was shot dead by FBI agents in his Orlando, Florida apartment on May 22, 2013. Todashev had been interrogated for approximately eight hours when, according to the FBI, he suddenly became violent. Initial reports claimed he lunged at agents with a knife or samurai sword, but those accounts quickly shifted — with later reports indicating Todashev was actually unarmed at the time of his death. Max questioned the official narrative, noting that Todashev had reportedly been about to implicate both himself and Tsarnaev in the unsolved 2011 Waltham triple murder when he was killed. The convenient silencing of a key witness raised serious questions about what the FBI was trying to keep buried.
HAARP and the Oklahoma Tornado
Following the devastating Moore, Oklahoma EF5 tornado, Max explored the theory that HAARP — the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program — may have played a role in weather manipulation. The show examined the timing of the tornado as a potential distraction from multiple Washington scandals, including IRS targeting and Benghazi hearings. While the mainstream dismissed these connections, Max pointed listeners to patents and government documents related to ionospheric heating technology and its potential applications in weather modification.
Adam Kokesh Arrested at Marijuana Rally
Libertarian activist and Iraq war veteran Adam Kokesh was arrested on May 18, 2013 at a marijuana legalization rally in Philadelphia. Max discussed the growing trend of federalized local police forces being used to crack down on peaceful protesters exercising their First Amendment rights. Kokesh, who had been planning an armed march on Washington for July 4th, became a symbol of the tension between government authority and individual liberty. The show also covered a 22-year-old Sandy Hook researcher who was arrested and held without bail after being charged with making threats — raising alarm bells about the criminalization of independent investigation and free speech.
Cell Towers: Not What We’re Told
Max dedicated a segment to the hidden purposes of cell tower infrastructure, examining reports that many towers contain equipment far beyond what is needed for standard cellular communication. The discussion covered concerns about electromagnetic radiation exposure, surveillance capabilities embedded in the cellular network, and the lack of transparency around what frequencies these towers actually broadcast.
Tulasi Plant for Fluoride Removal
The health segment highlighted research on tulasi (holy basil) as a natural method for removing fluoride from drinking water. Studies out of India demonstrated that tulasi leaves could effectively reduce fluoride concentrations in water, offering an affordable and accessible solution for communities concerned about the health effects of water fluoridation, including thyroid disruption and neurological impacts.
Cannabis Stops Severe Childhood Seizures
Max covered the emerging story of young children with severe epilepsy finding relief through cannabis-derived CBD oil. The case that was gaining national attention involved Charlotte Figi, a child with Dravet syndrome who experienced up to 300 grand mal seizures per week. After beginning treatment with a low-THC, high-CBD cannabis strain later named Charlotte’s Web, her seizures dropped to just two or three per month. This story would later be featured in CNN’s landmark Weed documentary by Dr. Sanjay Gupta, helping shift public opinion on medical marijuana nationwide.
